and rural backgrounds, for ministry. The
programme is designed to provide general knowledge, scripture knowledge, social
skills and communicative ability. Kindly
find a copy of the announcement for the Academic Guidance Programme – 2015. I shall be grateful to you, if you could
kindly give wide publicity to the enclosed announcement and advise the
prospective candidates for ministry in your Church to apply for the same.

PROGRAMME FOR B.D. CANDIDATES FROM
MARGINALIZED AND RURAL BACKGROUNDS
In response to the needs of
candidates from marginalized and rural backgrounds who are planning to pursue
their theological studies at the United Theological College (UTC), Bangalore,
the College offers a programme, in order to help them get acquainted with the
academic atmosphere of the UTC and to assist them in improving their knowledge
as well as their academic skills. The
UTC, therefore, invites applications from socio-economically deprived
candidates from the rural backgrounds, especially women, Dalits and Tribals,
who are aspiring to do theological studies.
This programme will be held as follows:
Duration of the Programme: September 30th
to October 17th, 2015.
Eligibility: Graduate/Post-graduate
from a recognized University.
Only a limited number of scholarships
are available to cover tuition fees, boarding and lodging to selected
candidates and no family scholarships are provided.
The duly filled in Application Form
